This lovely pair of blue cockatoos has been carefully hand-painted
with pale blue, deep blue and turquoise blue, with pale green and
charcoal accents.
The branch they share is bursting with multi-colored, enamel and
rhinestone flowers. Their heads and bodies are covered with pave-set,
clear faceted crystal rhinestones. This brooch has the famous Coro
Duette mechanism where the birds separate and can be worn as 2 fur
clips.
Signed "Coro Duette"" with Pat No. 1798867 and is featured
in the book, Fun Jewelry, by Schiffer on page 142. |
